Critter Care Program

Are you looking for a way to help homeless animals but can’t make a long-term commitment to volunteering?  Our Critter Care Program enables you to choose a community service project to complete independently so you can make a difference in the lives of the shelter animals at the North County Humane Society & SPCA.

KIND News Adopt-a-Classroom Program

To encourage humane education in schools, the North County Humane Society & SPCA offers teachers the opportunity to receive a free annual subscription to KIND News, a kid-friendly newspaper with stories and activities promoting kindness to animals and the environment.  Interested teachers can sign up annually in May to receive KIND News for the next school year.
