Pet
Ownership Expenses
|
 |
An important point to consider when adopting a dog or
cat is the expense involved. The initial purchase price occurs only
one time and is a minor expense compared to the continual costs.
The figures shown do not include any contingency to provide
for medical / surgical emergencies or for care for
the animals during vacations.
Figures are based on information gathered from a study conducted by
the ASPCA and the Animal Assistance League.
